Our Story

Starting as an all-natural health food trailer in the early 1980’s, we expanded into the Little Haiti / Little River area to begin a wholesale food company. For many years, we filled the deli cases of South Florida Health Food stores such as Wild Oats, Whole Foods, Rainbow Grocery, Natural Food Market, and many more.

In the late 90’s, neighboring body shops and import/export businesses noticed that we were cooking food and had an all Haitian staff but were not selling food to the public. They asked if we could offer something for lunch, there being little to eat in the area. Founders Yaron and Shula quickly agreed and we opened a small window with a few essential Caribbean dishes. Word quickly spread and the window became very busy. Now we offer a full spread of fresh and homemade food every day. The staff has expanded organically including the original members from the late 1980’s and now employing their families as well.

Naomi was a simple woman, cooking and caring for her family and their friends and their friends. We aim to continue in her name, cooking and caring for the wider community. Now her name feeds thousands each week.

We continue to expand, now offering Catering and Delivery as well as Live Music events in our garden seating area.

We are very excited to share Naomi’s with you, whether this is your first visit or one of many experiences to come!
